The National Women’s Soccer League today unveiled its 2024 schedule and broadcast information, which consists of 26 regular season matches for each team, with 13 matches at home and 13 matches on the road.
The 2024 campaign marks the beginning of the league’s landmark four-year domestic media rights agreements with CBS Sports, ESPN, Prime Video and Scripps Sports that will see 121 matches, including 113 regular season contests, all seven playoff fixtures and the 2024 NWSL Challenge Cup, featured on national platforms throughout the season.
Seattle Reign FC kicks its season off with a home match on Sunday, March 17 at 3:00 p.m. PT against the Washington Spirit, available on NWSL+. Following the home opener, the Reign will be on the road for three consecutive matches.
The club will face off with their biggest rival, Portland Thorns FC, first on the road on Saturday, May 11, followed by a match at Lumen Field on Sunday, June 16. Additionally, the Reign will go head-to-head with new expansion sides Bay FC for the first time ever on Sunday, April 14 and Utah Royals FC on July 7. The club will travel to Orlando on November 2 for the final week of the regular season.
With the league’s expanded playoff format in 2024, eight clubs will qualify for the quarterfinal round taking place the weekend of November 9-10. The semifinal round kicks off the weekend of November 16-17 ahead of the NWSL Championship on November 23.
